Our First Event in Japan: Discover all the details of our event in the city of Tokyo, the chosen setting to present The New Society’s new AW25 Women’s collection, in this journal entry.
To celebrate the launch, we hosted an intimate event in the heart of the city, at Hako Gallery, a space that breathes art and calm. The evening was conceived as a sensory and collaborative experience, bringing together local talent and the essence of our brand in a dinner that fused fashion, gastronomy, and craftsmanship, and music curated by Allon Beausoleil (@tiny.flame).
The dinner was led by chef Ola Szwalek (@olaszwalek), based in Japan, who created a special menu for the occasion. Each table set with custom tableware by ceramic artist Mizuki Tsumai (@mizuki.tsumai) and stunning glassware by Akihiro Nikaido welcomed guests, all dressed head-to-toe in looks from the collection.
Wines and sakes were carefully curated by sommelier Delphine Parodi (@delphineparodi), alongside her assistant Tica Suzuki (@tica_suzuki), with each pairing telling its own sensory story.
Our new AW25 Women’s collection was represented through a thoughtful installation: carefully selected pieces were displayed alongside campaign visuals, creating a visual journey that immersed guests in the collection’s world. During the welcome cocktail and dinner, the entire space became a living narrative of The New Society, captured through the lens of photographer Shimpei Mito (@mitograph), who documented every detail from the styling and installation to the intimate atmosphere among guests.
This was our first event in Japan, and the result couldn’t have been more special: a magical night filled with connection, sensitivity, and shared beauty. A special thank you to Almudena Tirado and her agency, with whom we collaborated closely in the preparation of this event and who joined us throughout this very special evening.
