Founded in 2019 by creative director Estefanía Grandío, The New Society celebrates the sincerity of everyday dressing through timeless design and mindful craftsmanship. With a deep respect for natural fabrics and artisanal tradition, the brand creates pieces that feel both nostalgic and modern, garments made to accompany real life and to endure beyond seasons.
Estefanía’s vision was inspired by the sentimental wardrobes of her childhood: clothing passed down through generations, rich with memory and quiet character. Each piece carried its own story of family, of place, of moments lived shaping her belief that fashion should feel personal, authentic, and emotionally lasting. Rooted in Spain’s rich textile heritage and a culture of meticulous craftsmanship, The New Society honors time-held techniques while nurturing a new community of makers.
We believe in fashion that does not exploit, that values people, that is intentional and reduces excess. Every decision we make has an impact and we always choose the most respectful path for both the planet and the people involved. Every garment that leaves our workshops has passed through hands that chose beauty over speed, and dignity over margins. This is not a strategy, it’s our way of being in the world.
With a commitment to responsible production and gentle aesthetics, The New Society designs collections that value sensitivity over trends. Each garment is created with care and consideration shaped by time, by skilled hands, and by a belief that fashion should move at a human pace. Most of our pieces are produced in Portugal, in close collaboration with family-run workshops whose expertise and attention to detail guide every step of the process. We choose materials that feel honest on the skin, methods that respect both maker and wearer, and designs that grow more meaningful with use.

There is a moment before the fabric is cut, before the garment is drawn, when everything begins.
A feeling. A color glimpsed in a faraway city. A piece of music that moves something inside. That is how each collection is born.
I travel to gather fragments of the world analog photographs, vintage silhouettes, forgotten textures, moments of silence. From these impressions, we create garments designed to live with you, not simply to be worn.
Because I believe one woman is many women: romantic and minimal, emotional and practical. This collection is made for her for the woman who moves through all her layers, who lives a life that begins early and ends late, shaped by small rituals, intuition, and presence.
These are timeless pieces, not created to follow a trend but to follow a feeling to accompany your rhythm, your changes, your beauty, exactly as you are.
