-Annie, what inspires you to create your collages?
Simply put, I am a dreamer living in my own world, constantly striving to make everything around me beautiful. I see the world differently and love inspiring people. For me, life itself is a collage: the things I see, the places I visit, the people I meet and admire, and the details that surround me all inspire me daily to create. I want people to see the beauty I see, feel what I feel, and be truly inspired to live! I am not a graphic designer but a visionary. My collages are not about specific skills but the energy I infuse into them.
-How would you describe your personal style?
I love the 90s for its minimalism, elegance, clean lines, and classic, simple styles, which are my forever base. I adore layering as it adds interest and personality to simplicity. Vintage and chic rare pieces are integral to my style. I always add a touch of "undone" – never too polished, and my hair is always a bit messy and I guess for me it balances everything.
-What has been your most memorable experience related to fashion?
There are so many! The one that still gives me goosebumps is when Jacquemus posted my collage to announce his new collection. I was just starting out and remember the emotions vividly. It felt like a sign that I was on the right path and that the right people saw and appreciated my work.
-What advice would you give to someone who wants to start creating their own content on IG?
In a world full of advice on how to succeed online, my honest advice is: be yourself! There's already everything on IG, so the only unique thing you can offer is your true self. Create for your pleasure, not for views or likes. Enjoy the process and do what you love. It might not be the fastest route, but it ensures that creating content remains a part of you. Don't take it too seriously; enjoy and try!
-Which place would you like to visit as a source of inspiration?
I believe visiting any new place is a huge source of inspiration; you never return from even a short trip as the same person. My next big dream is to visit Copenhagen, hopefully for fashion week in August. I've recently fallen in love with its aesthetics, people, and fashion, and I believe it will change me a lot.
-What message do you hope to convey to your followers through the content you share on social media?
Nowadays, what we see on social media shapes us just like books, movies, and art do. It’s important to choose the right inspiration because the wrong ones can be frustrating and make you forget who you are. Good inspiration evokes the best in you. It's all about energy; we are attracted to the energy people bring to everything they do or wear, and it can inspire us to be the best version of ourselves. Through every post, I aim to be that positive energy, encouraging people to choose well what to let into their lives, from people to things they buy.
